I HIGHLY recommend First Mate Academy! My son was fortunate enough to attend the summer camp program and I cannot say enough good things about his experience, and ours. Captain Andy teaches far more than fishing and being a good First Mate.. he teaches them respect, confidence, independence, life lessons, and to support others. His communication to the parents was amazing as well, constantly updating us and sending photos of our sons catch(es) of the day! My son left the week having learned so much and didn’t want to the camp to end. He cannot wait to join the academy in the fall, and to attend camp again for future summers to come. Thank you Captain Andy for this amazing program!
